Our Diagnostic Services
In-House IDEXX Diagnostics
At Veterinary Care Center, we use advanced in-house IDEXX diagnostic equipment to provide fast and accurate results. Our laboratory can perform a variety of tests, including complete blood counts (CBC), blood chemistry panels, and urinalysis. Having these capabilities on-site allows our veterinarians to quickly gather critical information about your pet’s health, aiding in early detection and timely treatment of medical conditions.
Digital Full-Body X-Rays
We offer state-of-the-art digital radiography to safely and efficiently evaluate your pet’s bones, joints, chest, and abdomen. Digital X-rays provide clear, detailed images that help our veterinarian diagnose injuries, illnesses, and internal issues with greater precision. With this technology available in-clinic, we can quickly assess your pet’s condition and create a personalized treatment plan.
Rigby’s Diagnosis
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ (Google Review)
My experience with Veterinary Care Center was amazing. Dr. Birch and her staff were very knowledgeable, kind, and very friendly when we brought our Golden Doodle, Rigby.
We live in Lexington and had taken Rigby to two other veterinarians who could not determine the cause of his abnormal liver enzyme levels. When we contacted Veterinary Care Center, the team reviewed his information and asked us to bring him in.
Within a few hours they had determined what was wrong. Rigby stayed a few days for medication and IV fluids and the staff contacted me several times each day with updates on his progress.
